| Product Description | The TM-SQUARE Shift Collar is a part that changes the shift feel of the ZC33S Swift more directly. In the case of the Swift, the shift lever and the transmission case are connected by two wires, and the gear changes via these wires when the shift lever is operated. First, the shift lever base (white plastic part in Photo 1), which forms the base of the shift lever, is fixed to the body at four points, but all of these are not rigid, but floating mounts with rubber bushings (Photo 2). Additionally, rubber bushings are also used in the shift wire bracket (Photo 3), which is attached to secure the shift wire. The TM-SQUARE shift collar uses a metal collar instead of these rubber bushings, and by rigidly fixing the shift lever base (Photos 4 and 5), it has achieved a direct, rigid shift feel. In addition, the ZC33S uses rubber bushings in several places to suppress vibration and noise. |
| Remarks | It is recommended that this product be installed together with the TM-SQUARE reinforced engine mount. When used in combination with the genuine engine mount, it may cause the gears to stick when the vehicle is cold. |
