| Product Description | Material: Carbon / FRP In the genuine intake system, cost and maintainability are emphasized, so the intake resistance is large and it is not possible to take in enough fresh air to generate power. The Tsuchinoko air intake system developed exclusively for the CR-Z takes in more air directly from the grille, the lower part of the bumper, and two ducts in order to inhale the cold outside air. By lowering the intake air temperature and increasing the capacity of the air cleaner BOX body, we were able to greatly improve power and torque. The whole area is powered up by taking in the running wind from the duct. The chamber effect provides a torque increase at low and medium rpm, and the ram pressure effect provides a power boost at high rpm. Since a part of the genuine air cleaner BOX is used, there are no ECU troubles such as abnormal flow rate of the air flow sensor and diminished fuel adjustment, which are seen in external air cleaners. By using a genuine or genuine air cleaner, dust is reduced and engine damage is reduced.
