Disk tire uses new material blended with resin, increasing the content of copper contained in non-asbestos material. Non asbestos generates high μ in the low temperature range, and μ has a characteristic that μ decreases with increasing temperature. On the other hand, copper is characterized by stable high μ characteristics in the high temperature range. "Copper Fiber Clutch System" combines the features of these two materials, while achieving easy-to-handle operability close to normal on street while exhibiting direct operation feeling and high fade resistance when running in sports such as a circuit. Additionally, when copper is blended in normally non-asbestos material, the burst resistance will be lowered, but by incorporating resin it improves the binding force of the facing and secures burst proof performance.
