| Product Description | Model year: 1996-09-2000-09 Special notes: The seating position will be lowered by approximately 40mm when installed for competition use. The seating position will be lowered by approximately 10mm when installed to comply with safety standards (using spacers). Seat offset: door side approximately 5mm (Recaro moves closer to the door side). For vehicles equipped with side airbags, the airbag warning light must be turned off. Trunk opener must be modified. Notes / Interference information: For the right seat only, LX (including Ergomed series), LS, and LT, the door-side recliner dial must be replaced with a thin recliner dial (product number 1600090J), and there will be approximately 10-15mm of interference between the backrest side and the door armrest near the rear end of the seat slide position. For LX (including Ergomed series) and LS with a round recliner dial, remove the door-side recliner dial, and there will be approximately 10-15mm of interference between the backrest side and the door armrest near the rear end of the seat slide position. For the left seat only, for LX (including Ergomed series), LS, and LT, the backrest side and door armrest interfere by approximately 10 to 15 mm. For Style-JS, the backrest width adjustment should be set to the narrowest setting before installation. For Sport-JS, the backrest side and door armrest interfere by approximately 10 to 15 mm. For New Ortho (sold until October 2010), the backrest side and door armrest interfere by approximately 5 to 10 mm when the backrest width adjustment is set to the narrowest setting. For New Ortho sold after November 2010, the width adjustment function is not a dial type but an electric type, but the backrest side and door armrest interfere by approximately 5 to 10 mm.
