| Product Description | Middle-temperature thermostat that keeps the engine in its optimal operating temperature range (approximately 80-95 degrees C). Low-temperature thermostats can overcool the coolant in normal driving, causing power loss and worse fuel economy; the middle-temp setting avoids the ECU misreading the engine as cold, so variable valve timing and electronic throttle control keep functioning properly while still improving cooling margin over stock. Fits both turbo and NA HA36S engines. |
