| Product Description | Developed to enhance the enjoyment of manual-transmission driving in the HA36S Alto Works, this racing quick shift gives the shift action a sportier, more responsive racing character. It reduces shift stroke by 8-12% compared to stock, delivering a sports-shift sensation. Extensively tested in circuit and sport driving, with stroke length optimized to prevent shift errors and transmission strain. Uses an M12-P1.25 threaded design, so shift knobs can be swapped easily (the OEM knob is press-fit and non-removable/reusable). The shift lever is made from chromoly steel for superior strength. Recommended R's shift knobs: AP-130B (weighted, black) or AP-130W (white). |
| Remarks | With D36-206 (lever only) a shift knob must be sourced separately; OEM knobs are press-fit and cannot be reused. A heat gun or hair dryer is needed to remove the original knob. Installation requires filing/grinding the shift lever base; use proper tools safely (a belt sander is recommended). Weighted knobs improve shift feel. |
