| Product Description | In response to user requests, we are releasing progressive springs for Civic e:HEV. The shape of the spring is a barrel spring. Unlike general straight-wound springs, barrel springs can have multiple rates due to differences in spring diameter (winding size). By taking advantage of the characteristics of this shape, we have created a suspension that can use a low rate around 1G, which controls ride comfort, and a high rate in high-speed corners. The spring rates were set at 3.4kgf/mm for the front and 3.4kgf/mm for the rear after testing on various stages such as winding roads and mini circuits.
